The Saris hitch mount rack models include the T-Bones, T-Rax, Cycle On, & Thelma. Each of these car bike rack solutions has its own personalities and qualities that make them great hitch mount bike racks for your needs. The Saris T-Bones comes in a 2 and 3 bike versions. It's lightweight and has an integrated locking system, so you don't have to worry about getting lock cores separately. It's a full on car bike storage rack ready to go out of the box. Qwik dock makes installation really easy. Another popular hitch-mounted Saris bike rack is the Saris T-Rax series. This hitch rack has many versions that can carry 1 to 5 bikes. There's the original, pro, and sport styles to the T-Rax. The T-Rax Pro and T-Rax Sport are universal hitch mounts of both 1 1/4" and 2" (only 2" in 5 bike model). The Pro adds a locking mechanism on both the bike mounts and hitch mount portions. The Sport adds adjustable pivots on the anti-sway and hold downs to keep bikes secure.

The Saris Thelma also comes in a 2 and 3 bike version. But, there is another version called the Thelma Juvenile that carries 3 bike as well. Two adult road or mountain bikes and a smaller bike that accommodates a child sized or smaller bike (20"). This is great for family trips! The unique feature about the Saris Thelma is that it uses wheel trays to carry the bike, so the actual bike rack never comes in contact with the frame.

The Saris Cycle On and Pro series can carry 2 bikes. Also, like the Thelma, the rack never touches the frame. The rack uses a ratcheting arm in the front to keep the bike secure and clamps on the back wheel. The small foot print of the rack tray can be folded up against the car when not in use. This automotive accessory is a great space saver. And, if you want to upgrade to 3 or 4 bikes, an add-on attachment can be purchased to extend the Cycle On rack. This is a 2" hitch type only and can carry up to 60 lbs bikes (the other hitch mount Saris racks can carry up to 35 lbs / bike).
